Notes about the Lima market for the foreigner:

All prices on this web site are US dollars (noted as US$ or USD) which is the currency used in this country for all real estate transactions.

We are not in the temporary renting business –except for property in the beach-. The minimum rental period we do in the city -for the time being- is six months.

Lima is big, with 8 million people living in it. Peru has a gross domestic product per head which is 18 times lower than the USA. As you may imagine, not every place in the city (as in any other major city in South America) is recommended for the foreigner to live in.

If you want to buy, you should probably be looking for properties valued at USD 50,000 and higher. If you are looking for rentals, you would probably want to begin your search at a minimum of USD 600 per month.
